My wife is completely satisfied with this product and uses it weekly with her Kitchen Aid Mixer.

The item is not as pictured. It shows a full round shield but the one I received had an opening and only goes around about 3/4 of the bowl. Still, works well and am happy with it. Definitely helps keep splattering down although you do still have to be careful when adding liquids.

When I bought my mixer, it didn't have this item (the new ones do). What a pleasure when adding dry ingredients and not spilling them all over the counter!!

What I ordered and what they sent was two different things. I did send it back and get a refund. I found the product on another site. Was told they don't make this anymore.
