Pleased with this food processor July 26, 2010 AMarshall (New York) This food processor is rated the best on the market, according to my research. It was listed at a good price on amazon.com and came with free shipping, so we went with it. So far I have only made strawberry jam with it, but it is extremely efficient at slicing up those strawberries! It seems very high quality and sturdy. I think it will be a great tool for slicing, chopping, or pureeing anything we need!
Review of Cuisinart Prep 11 July 20, 2010 Carl Received the food processor in a timely manner & in good condition. Was very pleased with the quality construction, in particularlly the way the disk attached. Have used the product a couple of times for hard items like grading cheese with excellent results. Cleans easily & most items will go in the dishwasher.
NICE IMPROVEMENTS ON A CLASSIC July 3, 2010 OliveandEarl Bought this edition to replace the last one which found a new home at the summer cabin. It performs well as expected. The parts fit nicely together resulting in easier use. It is quieter too which came as a surprise. We like the larger bowl and convenience that earlier models had and were fine, but not great at. This is the benchmark for food processors. Very good value for a kitchen essential.
DO NOT BUY THE PRO CLASSIC, BUY THIS ONE July 2, 2010 A. Gowan (West Deptford, NJ USA) I have owned 2 Pro Classics ($99). It is cheaper to buy a new one than buy replacement parts. The feed tube pusher assembly is difficult to operate and breaks easily. Spend the extra $40 and buy this 11 cup model. It is simple to operate and has a larger feed tube. I wish I had purchased this one in the beginning. I love it!
Don't trust Amazon June 27, 2010 unhappy8 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
Since I have used Amazon for books, I decided to try them for this appliance. What a bad decision! The food processor arrived without the additional blades, spatula, and cookbook! Unfortunately I didn't discover this until I unwrapped all of the other pieces. And now Amazon says to contact the manufacturer? What a ripoff by Amazon.
