3 out of 5 stars It's okay   July 18, 2010
Jo
Takes setting #7 to toast bread which is longer than I would like, but it's fine.

3 out of 5 stars eh, it works but...   July 17, 2010
Lafou (NYC)
The indicator which shows the toast mode is a small light which never goes off. I find this annoying, as I try to avoid "energy vampires" which use electricity when they are not in use. So, I pull the plug out when not in use, but older toaster did not have this feature. It toasts fine, though, and it looks good on the counter.

5 out of 5 stars Great little appliance   July 10, 2010
Jeanette M. Johnson (CT)
The Cuisinart toaster is just as described. Does a great job, takes up little counter space. Settings let you get toasted food exactly as you prefer it. Would recommend to others.

2 out of 5 stars disappointed   July 4, 2010
freddie
It is disappointing to find that this toaster does not toast both sides of a slice evenly.

5 out of 5 stars Perfect for Me   June 25, 2010
lithlady (Illinois)
I read the reviews (Consumer Reports) & decided this must be the toaster to replace my 10 yr old one. It was...have no complaints. Works great after experimenting with different settings. It does all types of breads perfectly & bagels, too. Haven't tried a frozen pastry yet & probably won't since I don't usually buy them. You have to love the electronic age of controls...they work!
